The trout lake at Manor Farm was first opened in 1992, and is now established as one of the top fisheries in the country. The lake covers 5 acres with depths ranging from 6 feet in the shallows on the south bank to 12 feet in the northeast corner. The lake has an abundance of natural fly life, especially damsels and pond olives. Dry fly fishing is usually good during the Spring and early Summer, with Daddy Long Legs continuing this trend into the Autumn.
