Seaton is located on the eastern edge of Devon, on it south coast. Home to the mouth of the river Axe, there is good fishing for a range of species. Mullet can be caught in the river. Generally people fish the seaward side of the last road bridge. The access is good and the fishing is easy from the quay side. Ground bait heavily and get fishing. Landing your catch can be a challenge and you need to keep an eye out for moving boats. This mark fishes well on the rising tide. Flounder are caught the other side of the road bridge. Crab and rag are the preferred baits. Fish the tide up.
