Sea fishing Description
To find Rinsey Look for Ashton located on the A394 Helston to Penzance road. When heading towards Penzance you will see a sign for Rinsey on your left just past the Lion and Lamb pub (which is on your right) follow this road and follow the signs to the national trust carpark. From here you will be able to see the rock marks and small beach.
The fishing area at Rinsey runs from Rinsey Head to Trewavas Head and is mainly rock marks. The water is deep in areas so some experimentation is required.
Good Wrasse are possible all along here. Bass, Pollock, Conger at night, Huss and dog fish all frequent this area. In the summer Mackerel can be caught in the deeper water.
Basking Shark are often seen in this area during the summer months.
Walking to the marks is not easy, carrying loads of gear would be a challenge, take care!
